Every other year students from Holy Cross School in grades 5 through 8 participate in our school science fair. As part of our science curriculum, we guide our students through the Scientific Process of conducting an experiment. Students are introduced to the planning of a research project by exploring the following aspects: variables, hypothesis, data analysis, materials, procedures, bibliography, and conclusion. These projects are presented at the school science fair and judged by members of the community. Successful students then advance to the next level, the district Science Fair.
