Spiritual Life

Students at Holy Cross come from various religious and cultural backgrounds. Their beliefs are respected and acknowledged. As a Catholic school, a Christian emphasis underlies all that is done within the school.

Religion studies lessons are an important aspect of the curriculum.

The scope of the program guides students in learning about the Christian faith and the Bible, discussing topical ideas, reviewing world religions, and relating their own experiences to the Christian message. Christian values are also embedded throughout key learning areas.

Our parish pastor along with teachers co-ordinate school ministry, which involves our assembly program, church services, and other student and parent activities. Mass services for K to 8 are held at St. Ann's Parish and in the School gym.

The schedule of important dates and events leading to the sacraments of Confirmation and First Communion will be posted here when it is available. These important dates will also be updated in the school calendar.
